I found this little nugget of angst in the local area Craigslist arena for jobs. Someone is just a bit pissed over the wages offered by this Scroogish employer. Take a look and tell me what you think of employers that look to exploit you for services rendered. Mind you this is really knuckle-busting work.

Anyone who would meet your standards would be crazy to work for just pennies above minimum wage. subway starts you out @$7.50 with many perks and 0 danger or risk! what are you thinking. this is almost 2010 not 1954.
Need lube/general tech to do oil changes, tire rotations, tire plugs and patches, occasional brake jobs, etc. Clean driving and criminal record and one year experience in a garage required. Monday through Friday 8-5. Please e-mail with any questions, and include full name, address, best contact phone number, and list VERIFIABLE employment history as a lube/tire tech or mechanic, describing your duties and dates employed. We will not consider applicants with casual experience, only those with an employment history specifically as a lube/tire tech or mechanic for which you received a paycheck and that can be verfied. We will contact you by phone and/or email to schedule an interview if you have the qualifications we are searching for. Starting pay is $8 per hour with possible commission, may vary by qualifications and experience, and may increase after probationary period.
