Sophos does an outstanding job of their statistical analysis on Facebook users. even with the recent updating of Facebook's privacy initiative, it is uncanny that many thousands of users are allowing leaks to occur. Even the most internet savvy of Facebook users make too much inof public. stop the "friending" of those that you do not know. Create lists of those that have shared causes and abilities. The strength in Facebook's interface is the ability to grow a network of "community" around yourself. Not to be the person with the "most" friends. Unlike twitter, where many place value in the amount of followers, Facebook is a much more niche relegated social network. Use it wisely and with a bit os skepticism. It will go a long way.
