113Tidbits: Schools Out - Now We Intern

[ad#HTML]

Yesterday, i had my last actual class day of school. There will be no more hanging onto the strings of the instructor while scanning non-pathology hearts. My classmates, thank the good Lord are all healthy and have no underlying cardiac disease. For me this coddling of the classroom and Echo lab has come to an end. Finally, we were all given our internship sites to gain valuable experience and expertise scanning hearts that will have all manners of cardiac deficiencies or disease.

I am so looking forward to the chance to finally say that I will be a true healthcare professional. The site that I was given of course is 30 miles north of me. But by hook or crook I intend to get to my site everyday. The only thing giving me pause now of course, is that I cannot use public transportation to get to Springhill Hospital. My goal this month is to get as many visitors to come through to the site and possibly support me with a gracious donation. These thoughtful donations could help me to insure and fix the vehicle that i have. Making it viable to get me to my intern site and become a professional cardiac sonographer.

So, if you are reading this for this long, please donate to my Vehicle Fund by using the "Donation" widget on my left sidebar here or visit a few of the promotional offers located here.

Your stewardship will be graciously accepted.
