A Denim Shirt For The Worker In All Of Us
I was recently given the opportunity to try on a denim shirt that was from a highly respectable name. The shirt is fashioned from a high strength breathable denim fabric and built for everyday wear in harsh environments. My working on the railroad and outdoors during the winter months would be awesome with a shirt like this. I really liked the sturdiness of the fabric. Now for the bad news.
The main gripe I had with the shirt was with the cut or fit of it. I requested a 2X size since I am a large man. I would have included a picture of me wearing the shirt but it was too tight for me to put on. Yes, I am big but a 2X is usually cut in a way where there is enough bagginess for moving around and comfort. This cut had neither of those functions that are essential. The shoulders weren’t very open either, so while I was attempting to put on the shirt I could feel it binding underneath my armpits. This was very uncomfortable to say the least.
