Scan Disk - Windows XP (Old Reliable)
There are quite a bit of new and rather old utilities available when it comes to cleaning your pc. I like to stick to the basics because of the tried and true methodology behind them. I have had a PC in my home since around the late 90’s before the plethora of web junk that prevails in today’s internet atmosphere. the only tried and true utility that I believe in is Scan Disk in Win XP . Sure it is a rather basic tool but it works as a great standby for cleaning out all the detrimental cobwebs that could be slowing down your PC’s functions.
I myself don’t have the capital to stay the course with buying all of the new and required utilities available but the free stuff like Scan Disk in Win XP suits me just fine. And it’s already installed on every version of Windows which makes it very easily accessible.
