Software Flaw Leads to Segway Recall

Segway Inc. is recalling all of its 23,500 Personal Transporters because of a software glitch that can make the wheels of the electric scooters unexpectedly reverse direction and cause a rider to fall. the U.S. consumer Product Safety Commission said people should stop using the vehicles immediately and contact the compant to request a free software upgrade. The company has received reports of six accidents caused by the glitch.
